First and foremost, I’d like to review two of the similar to deviantart.com type of website which I happen to come across and experiment a few time back. Well as most of you know (or might not know but soon to be knowing) that deviantART is an art community where fellow artists and friends upload their works to share with the public. And at the same time would be able to gain profit by deviantART’s print services. Some would be able to get people to commission custom works for them, but provided that the artist has an established reputation there. (if not, it’s kind of hard to get customers)Well guess what, thanx to Sakura and Reryu, I’ve manage to bump into another similar site but which is slightly less hassle for you to open up commission. It’s called Manga Bullet!
They’re currently undergoing their Beta Testing stage, so it’s a good thing to go there and experience the site growing little by little. Here’s a screen shot of the site and you may register yourself as a beta tester by click this LINK HERE~
A screenshot of mangabullet front page. Not as fancy but clear to view. CLick to go there for larger view.

What attract me the most about Manga Bullet is their commission policy. Anyone (even those without paypal account) can set up commission works just as simple as that. The payment is made by using sen, by means of 1 sen = 5 ¢ (U.S.). Don’t worry they have their calculator/converter to do the trick. But by having too much “pick and fill” selection, it tends to be a little rigid for people to put up additional or certain criteria for the commission. The only problem which bugs me a little is when you’re using the “sen” as currency, sometimes we tend to get confused over the real currency. Like for instance, one sketch is available for 140 sen. How much is it again in real money?? OwO Oh wait.. I need to use the converter. dadada.. ooohhh so 140 sen is actually $7 USD.
A little too tedious, ain’t it? 8(
And they only allow you to put up thumbnails on your gallery with an exact specific size of 128 x 72 pixels. If you don’t like the preview thumbnail they give you (which in my case I hated all of the thumbnail they provided becoz it’s just a simple crop of the actual image), then you have to make your own thumbnail. Hmm…
But all in all, I think I’m kinda liking Manga Bullet. Hmm.. we’ll see. Or else I’ll just stick to deviantart. =A=
