I have turned 21. The key to adulthood. O_O; Or so “they” say. *swt* Celebrated my 21st birthday at Tok Mi’s house in Seremban. Pak Ude and Mak Ude was there too. This is a picture of me with my new haircut, budget nak buat like Jigoku Shojo but so sayang to cut my hair so jadi like that lar. Haha. Poyo berus gigi betul. I got presents from my family. Thankyou you guys!!!

But.. ah what is this..? Lip gloss?? Perfumes? Eye shedow?? blue color eye shedow summore?? O_O;; gehh… I don’t even know how to wear one la for god’s sake. ugh. The eye shedow is a gift from Aunt Amy, the salon owner. It’s a RM48 eye shadow, one of her products at her salon. Her salon multi function as beauty shop for make-up and facial stuff. so yeh.. i think she got those for free when she buys stuff in bulk la. Neway thanx Aunt Amy. ^^; And the lip gloss (both of them) is a gift from Mak Ude. O_O; I tried wearing one. My sister Sara laugh like want to shit. siao I dunno how to wear la. This type is like paint brush sapu-sapu lip gloss, so i paint my lips like i paint on kertas la. My sis said I put on too much. She helped me betul-betulkan sikit. T_T I am so hopeless…..

But!! *__* I WILL LEARN TO CONQUER YOU, MAKE-UP STUFFIES. The usual stuffies la. lipstick/gloss, bedak kompek, and.. that is all. eye shedow look first if i want to be bling-bling chic. (which usually not, most of the time) O_O; hm… make-ups.. why la girls have to do this leceh stuff.. boys all carefree no need to care about pimples and scars. bleargh. :sneer: Last but not least, the red box packed ones are body-shop body care products, from mummy dearest. One eu-de-toilette (i think perfume la.. O_O) and a shower gel with free that squeegee-spongee-thing. Ape orang panggil? *shrugs* thanx mom!!

The teddy bears. The small one my auntie nyah bought it for me. Along with the small strawberry oil prefume. the small bottle one. and the bigger teddy (I call it Pathces) was a long wanted teddy bear. Sarah brought it for me. Thanx sis! ^^ I like the small patch they stitch up on his head and tummy. It’s as if it was broken and was mended back again. Very cute.

p/s: I’ll be away for a week starting Monday. It’s school holiday la. What else. Go for family holiday la. no? We’ll be spending our days at Lumut till Sunday. But Monday untill Tuesday we’ll be in Tepeng to visit Opah who’ll be going for Umrah. ^^ Untill next week… mata!!

Yesterday we went there to watch a movie and find him his present. Today, we’re getting him this really good priced jacket. It’s original price was somewhat around RM130+ and the price slashed down to RM41.97. What a bargain. We saw the jacket yesterday before entering the movies but did not buy it, well because not necessary la that time. Then he went back home and asked his mom about it and she gave the greenlight (along with the green-blue-ish-sinar-sinar paper. duit la duit) and so we came back to Berjaya Times Square today and bought the jacket. :heart: It suits him, quite well. It’s been long since he got himself new clothes. Selalu keluar asyik tengok die pakai baju same jer. huh~

This is how the jacket looks like. Army green jacket. The compartments, er.. pockets are very handy. The stitches is nicely done and it looks, kemas. So after this can go to faculty wearing round necks with this jacket laa. no sweat one~! Yeah. UiTM has this rule that boys cannot wear round necks without colars. So, this one can la. *peace*

See his sandals? That’s his new sandals I bought him for his birthday. Sorry muchuk kene tunggu lame skek. Kumpul duit. Glad he liked it so much. It’s a Nike Straprunner 7. Actually that colour is for the women series but the design for men and women are the same. Only colour codings and size range is different. O_O I don’t get it. This black grey is for women…? and the men is black and yellow?? Haihz. I don’t get the colour scheme gender. *shrugs*

nice huh? ^^ Well before going back we ate a RM5.00 pancake at this kiosk around the entertainment area level. In front of a toy shop. Forgot the name of the shop. The waffle is quite yummy. The chocolate sauce is abundance.

The shopowner/makcik buat penkek is very generous. But service is quite poor. Makcik tu tak pemurah senyuman. And surh orang pickup pancake tu sendiri dkt counter padahal meja tak banyak mane pun. Ape salahnye pi je antar kat meja customer. Bukan jauh pun dari counter. Bukan kene lompat keluar counter pun. Ade je ruang nak kuar terang2an. Tapi takpelah. Disebabkan waffle die sedap, kami maafkan. haha. :razzle:

T_T Camera ku pula mmg tak didisegn ntuk wire connection dari pc ke camera. so.. mmg kene pakai card reader la. so now dah beli so huyyeahhhh!!

Before this I received an email from Puppeteer. Now.. O__O It’s ZINT! OGFSDHASHDJAKSL:AJDL!!! I used to go head over heels for Zint ever since his first debut in Gempak for his comic Daredevilz and grew ever more “in love” with him (his art particularly) since the first generation of Under 18 was out. Back then, Gempak was so good since there weren’t much magazine exposing about eastern manga/anime information. And to make it even better, they even published manga-style influenced comic. (Back then Ujang, Umpan, Gila-Gila was top). I admired Zint as my Sifu (literally sifu, coz I learned a lot from him and his experience when he told me about it) because he is versatile. He can make very good love stories, and stupid jokes (which I admit at times are really stupid and not funny), and those really funny jokes.
I admired him so much.

And to think after so long of no contacting each other (we lost contact ever since I entered Uni), to think he’d actually respond back to the CNY card I sent him earlier this year. I was so happy.

…to buy Ariz his promised birthday present
…to eat, at CHICKEN HARTZ BUFFET!!! Gyahahah!!

Spiderman 3 was very nice, at least for me and Ariz. I’ve heard a lot of negative reviews about this movie from friends. Gaban said it’s a mushy love story, Kitsin was disappointed about venom appearance for the black suit, I forgot who else but most say it’s rather disappointing. The last time I hear what ppl say and not watch that movie was when Pirates of the Carribean 2 was released. So many negative reviews and at the end I decided not to watch. But a few days ago, my bro watched the DVD and I watched halfway with him. It wasn’t that bad. Still funny, still the cute carefree drunkard Jack Sparrow attitude I liked. *shrugs* Rugi tak tengok kat wayang.

So.. about Spiderman 3, I was determined to watch it at the movies. So far, I think it was worth it. I wasn’t disappointed, so the least. The CG was quite cool (ok, really cool for the fighting scenes. bravo!) and the part where they had this battle in the underground subway cum underground sewerage was really breathtaking. The way they rendered sandman and venom, I like. But I wish they would add more slimey greenish saliva around Venom’s jaw. Gwehehehe!! :razzle: Peter Parker looked doofus, as always. Harry was, I dunno. Somehow looked quite macho ahahah. damn. And Mary Jane was really looking old. Pft. That’s the drawback. I think they should pick a better heroine. But then again, I guess she’s ok. Oldiness face cant be helped. O_O;erk. ape aku merepek. siut.

The story was good. I like the way the director brings the storyline. Slowly and steady at first, then you’re about to reach the peak, and then there’s the climax, anddd.. it ends just nicely. ^__^ I like what aunt May said to Parker when he was mentioning to her about proposing to Mary Jane. She said, “A man can be a good husband, when he can put her wife before himself”. Or sumthing like that. :heart: Which reminds me of this TV3 ad at the TV. A motivational catch phrase for a motivational programme I think. Saying sumthing like.. “Saya tidak berjaya menjadi seorang suami yang baik jika tidak dapat mereliasasikan impian isteri saya”. Well I kinda agree, *BUT*, if the wife doesn’t have this irrational dream like I want a big house on top of mount everest with 8 sports car. haha! damn.

My bro followed us to Times Square for the outing today. Since he had watched Spiderman 3 already, he went to wathc Sumo-Lah instead. His review. It was hillarious. XD As always, most people say it’s not so good. Well, I was really hoping I’d see it myself. ^^ Afdlin’s lawak bodoh cracks me up. I want to experience how far has he able to crack me up this time.

Speaking of movies, there’s so much movies I want to watch. GAH!! Tau la cuti skolah, cuti summer lagi. Banyak lak wayang best nak dikuarkan. siut. My must watch list.. because I’ve followed the series since 01.

Namaku Linda & aku memiliki sebuah kisah cinta yang memberiku sebuah pelajaran tentangnya. Ini bukanlah sebuah kisah cinta hebat & mengagumkan penuh gairah seperti dalam novel-novel roman, walau begitu menurutku ini adalah kisah yang jauh lebih mengagumkan dari itu semua.

Ini adalah kisah cinta ayahku, Mohammed Huda alhabsyi & ibuku, Yasmine Ghauri. Mereka bertemu disebuah acara resepsi pernikahan & kata ayahku ia jatuh cinta pada pandangan pertama ketika ibuku masuk kedalam ruangan & saat itu ia tahu, inilah wanita yang akan menikah dengannya. Itu menjadi kenyataan & kini mereka telah menikah selama 40 tahun & memiliki tiga orang anak, aku anak tertua, telah menikah & memberikan mereka dua orang cucu.

Mereka bahagia & selama bertahun-tahun telah menjadi orang tua yang sangat baik bagi kami, mereka membimbing kami, anak-anaknya dengan penuh cinta kasih & kebijaksanaan.

Aku teringat suatu hari ketika aku masih berusia belasan tahun. Saat itu beberapa ibu-ibu tetangga kami mengajak ibuku pergi kepembukaan pasar murah yang mengobral alat-alat kebutuhan rumah tangga. Mereka mengatakan saat pembukaan adalah saat terbaik untuk berbelanja barang obral karena saat itu saat termurah dengan kualitas barang-barang terbaik.

Tapi ibuku menolaknya karena ayahku sebentar lagi pulang dari kantor. Kata ibuku,”Mama tak akan pernah meninggalkan papa sendirian”.

Hal itu yang selalu dicamkan oleh ibuku kepadaku. Apapun yang terjadi, sebagai seorang wanita aku harus patuh pada suamiku & selalu menemaninya dalam keadaan apapun, baik miskin, kaya, sehat maupun sakit. Seorang wanita harus bisa menjadi teman hidup suaminya. Banyak orang tertawa mendengar hal itu menurut mereka, itu hanya janji pernikahan, omong kosong belaka. Tapi aku tak pernah memperdulikan mereka, aku percaya nasihat ibuku.

Sampai suatu hari, bertahun-tahun kemudian, kami mengalami duka, setelah ulang tahun ibuku yang ke-59, ibuku terjatuh di kamar mandi & menjadi lumpuh. Dokter mengatakan kalau saraf tulang belakang ibuku tidak berfungsi lagi, & dia harus menghabiskan sisa hidupnya di tempat tidur.

Ayahku, seorang pria yang masih sehat diusianya yang lebih tua, tapi ia tetap merawat ibuku, menyuapinya, bercerita banyak hal padanya, mengatakan padanya kalau ia mencintainya. Ayahku tak pernah meninggalkannya, selama bertahun-tahun, hampir setiap hari ayahku selalu menemaninya, ia masih suka bercanda-canda dengan ibuku. Ayahku pernah mencatkan kuku tangan ibuku, & ketika ibuku bertanya ,”untuk apa kau lakukan itu? Aku sudah sangat tua & jelek sekali”.

Ayahku menjawab, “aku ingin kau tetap merasa cantik”. Begitulah pekerjaan ayahku sehari-hari, ia merawat ibuku dengan penuh kelembutan & kasih sayang, para kenalan yang mengenalnya sangat hormat dengannya. Mereka sangat kagum dengan kasih sayang ayahku pada ibuku yang tak pernah pudar.

Suatu hari ibu berkata padaku sambil tersenyum,”…kau tahu, Linda. Ayahmu tak akan pernah meninggalkan aku…kau tahu kenapa?” Aku menggeleng & ibuku melanjutkan, “karena aku tak pernah meninggalkannya…”

Itulah kisah cinta ayahku, Mohammed Huda Alhabsyi & ibuku, Yasmine Ghauri, mereka memberikan kami anak-anaknya pelajaran tentang tanggung jawab, kesetiaan, rasa hormat, saling menghargai, kebersamaan, & cinta kasih. Bukan dengan kata-kata, tapi mereka memberikan contoh dari kehidupannya.

I bet most girls/lady/women out there would want a husband who’d stay by their side for long even when they have nothing. If you’ve given that to him, I’m sure he’d be more than willing to do the same for you. But when you do it, make sure you’re doing it sincerely.
