This is drawn by my very own team leader, the KING OF EVILNESS ZEEEEEENNNNNN!!! Guan ni pi shi means “mind your own business” in mandarin. Ah Keon taught me that phrase and it kinda has been  my favourite phrase to use up untill now. Hehee.. Don’t mind the “my hair is messy” part. He really likes to sibuk-sibuk whenever he saw my hair is a little bit untidy. =3=

This is drawn by Chun Yip @ Venom, my friend from the background department. The Chinese saying is “Kan se ma kan, guan ni pi shi” which means “whatchu looking at, mind your own business” mueheeheh~

Actually I also have my own version of me saying “kan se ma kan” but i forgot to bring it back from the office. O_O; maybe tomorrow.

Hee~ Vincent took this picture of me with my boss, AH LOONG @ Wong Kuan Loong~~ Haha Ah Loong doesn’t normally wear this smart, he had an interview in the morning with NTV7. He usually wears shirt with jeans and lets his hair loose. Anyway, Ah Moon was selling off this mini fish eye lense (quite cheap but fun) which can be sticked to the camera phone lense to give out fish-eye effect, just like in this picture. See my head is bigger than my feet? Well the effect is not exactly noticable at one glance you get the feeling of it didn’t you? Notice how the lines that connect the walls and floor bend in a circular way> If you took a photo with background with lots of lines you can notice the difference! Like this picture of Ah Bee, our character designer. =)

Long time no see. Busy busy days for me. Ahahaha! Anyways, as the title above says, Animasia Studio (the place where I’m working right now) is in desperate needs of workers since we are currently having multiple projects at one time. We are looking for those who has good skill and strong passion towards drawing, eager to learn new things, have a very strong will, and most importantly those with great working attitude to join us for these openings.

• 2D Animators (Keyframers, Inbetweeners and Clean-Up Artists)
• Storyboard Artists
• Background Artists
• Graphic Designers

Huge openings for Animators position. If you are interested to to join in but worried that you don’t have any degree or certificate in animation or related field, don’t worry. Our company doesn’t really look into qualifications based on that piece of paper. We are more keen on your portfolio so please bring your best work on papers and impress us! As for me, I am not graduated from animation field and have ZERO knowledge in animation but I am happy working here learning a lot of things from my fellow seniors. The colleagues here are very nice people and are very helpful in guiding us newbies. Their attitude are all so gila-gila also haha and I hardly get bored here. =) I’ve been working here for more than 6 months and have learn a lot more than I could ever imagine.

As an additional information, we are using Flash software to animate. We don’t use much of the tweening animation as you most probably see being used a lot in 2D animation on TV. We animate key by key, thus the strong need for drawing skills. Hehe.. Lame tak memblog. Wasn’t feeling very well the past few days. Sekarang musim batuk-batuk dan seleseme. Aku balik kerja je memang terus mandi and tidur. ABC Monsters sekarang tengah buat sampai episode 13 dah. Which means dah nak abis satu season. We have 13 more episodes to go but before that it’s ammendment time. Other work related note, my team leader Jing Hui helped me get a raise from the boss. Yay! Thankyou~ This shows that if you put in your effort more and show them that you’re worth it, they’re willing to revise your salary based on your work performance. It’s good because it gives me motivation to do better on every episode. Sejak akhir-akhir ni ramai bebudak office yang resign. Kalau tak pasal stress, pasal gaji sikit. But then again, kalau kerja tak bagus sape la yang nak kasik gaji naik. It all lies on your own working ethics and attitude.

Anyways, other than work related stuff, the wedding date is getting nearer and nearer. For those who are wondering when’s the wedding reception.. it’s MAY 31st 2009, insyaAllah kalau takde ape-ape halangan. Kad kawin blum buat lagi so tunggu je la ek? =)

Haihz.. pasal kereta baru lak. lame dah tunggu. Turns out there was some problem with the loan. Now I think the loan is all settled. Hopefully I can get it by next week. Tapi sekarang dah tak bape excited nak amik Myvi SE orange lagi sebab.. sebab.. T___T kat ofis dah ade sorang mamat ni pakai dah! AAAAHHH TANAKKKKK SAMEEEE!!!!! =3= urgh…

Haha in the end I still blab on around anyways. This is the first time I joined their annual dinner. From what I heard from Kok Lee, the previous annual dinner was much more fun. This time around, it kinda lack the “activity” and happeningness. But then again, they all went yamseng like gila till their faces all went red. All in all, it was fun. But I didn’t really enjoy the food though. Just loving the time spent with them. =)

ohshit I even forgotten the name of the restaurant we went! O_O;;

T_T Every day now I have to go back after 9pm which usually ends up around 10pm or 10.30pm due to rushing of ABC Monsters dateline. The recent gilaness is to finish one episode in frickin FOUR DAYS. That’s 90+ scenes and around 12 minutes animation. Aaaa… I don’t mind going back late actually BUT just now Jing Hui ask us to do compulsory homework. O_O; Draw SEVEN full body figures of the Super Strikas character (draw in flash), just to practice our drawing skill. Reaching home around 11pm or 12am, I usually end up very exhausted and tired.. Looks like now I have to really buck things up, suck out my manja-ness and go for hardship to improve myself. yeah I have nothing more to complaint but just look towards the bright side and be optimistic about it.

=v= yeah……….. good thing it’s seven figures. Before this Jing Hui wants us to do TEN. O_O; Ah.. if that’s the case, then there goes my weekend of berfoya-foya.

I didn’t even manage to finish one drawing in my mini sketchbook today. T3T ABC punya pasal la ni..
